ABOUT BEN BRAEUER
Bernd (Ben) Braeuer has the background and experience to provide

International Corporate:
Ben has behind him 22 years at the highest level in international business, having worked for two of the world's largest firms, Ericsson and Siemens. His last formal posting was in a unique corporate position as Executive Assistant to the Managing Director, Siemens - responsible for the company's Corporate Strategy for Australia, New Zealand and the Asia/Pacific Region, including university and technology cooperations, acquisitions and mergers, and export strategy. During this time, his strategic work resulted in the largest ever order in Thailand for an Australian Consortium for the construction of the Bang Pakong Power Station near Bangkok. His innovative strategy was subsequently adopted by Siemens world-wide.

International Strategic Consultancy:
Having decided to move to Queensland for personal reasons, Ben turned his hand to private consultancy and motivational work for government, companies, groups and private individuals, including motivation and technology strategy for the Australian Americas Cup Yachting Teams during preparations on Australia's Gold Coast for the Americas Cup in San Diego. Ben joined our Australian teams - John Bertrand's One Australia, and Sid Fisher's Sydney 95, during the 1995 Americas Cup Races in San Diego.
Community Development & Environment Programs:
Following a series of personal tragedies in 1997, Ben turned his hand to motivating people recovering from Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), and then on to assisting our most vulnerable young people through innovative early age intervention programs developed by his youth charity, New Beginnings International, founded in 1999. New Beginnings International's work continues to this very day, having positively changed the lives of many thousands of Australia's most vulnerable children, as well as creating a greater ecological awareness through the organisation's Youth Marine Conservation Programs.

Strategies for Positive Community Development:
Acting as a 'Social Enterprise', Bernd Brauer Consulting aims to provide support for Positive Community Development, especially for our most vulnerable children and young people. Social Enterprise Definition: A social enterprise is a business that trades primarily to solve social, environmental, or cultural problems, prioritising purpose over profit.
